Embedded Sotware Engineer

Description

• Research, design, develop, test and implement (new) embedded software
• Manage, enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Analyze the requirement specifications and create technical specifications.
• Select tooling for setting up the development process (build environment, code review, continuous integration…)
• Assess different problems (functional problems, performance problems…), understand the root cause and provide the best solution
• Identify risks and define mitigation actions appropriate for the architecture of small, low power, highly connected embedded system

Profile

• Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years of proven prior experience in industry
• Experience in RTOS
• Knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
• Knowledge of an “Embedded Operating System (eg Linux, real time kernel…)
• Programming: C ,C++.
• Good knowledge of telematics, testing kits, ready-to-use modules, etc… on the main connectivity technologies (Cellular/WLan/DSRC-V2X, Bluetooth/GNSS/… ) is a plus
• Creative thinking skills, Detail-oriented personality, Problem solver
• Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English
