Job Description and Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and motivated Metal Additive Manufacturing Engineer, with 1 to 5 years of experience, to join a Materials and Processes team in Belgium. This position is available as soon as possible.

• Ensure surface treatment, repair, and heat treatment of additive manufacturing parts to guarantee optimal performance.

• Work on the finishes and final quality of manufactured parts, using advanced surface treatment techniques.

• Participate in the development of additive manufacturing processes other than powder bed processing, such as DED (Directed Energy Deposition), MIM (Metal Injection Molding), Binder Jetting, WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing), etc.

• Collaborate with technical teams to improve manufacturing processes and develop new technological solutions.

Desired Profile

We are looking for a profile that has:

• An engineering degree or equivalent in materials, industrial processes, or mechanics, with a specialization or significant experience in additive manufacturing.

• Between 1 and 5 years of experience in metal additive manufacturing, ideally in an industrial environment.

• A good knowledge of post-processing methods (heat treatment, repair, surface finishing).

• An expertise in various additive manufacturing processes, other than powder bed (DED, MIM, Binder Jetting, WAAM, etc.).

• A capability to work in a team, with a spirit of innovation and practical sense.

• Fluency in French and a good knowledge of English.
