The first manned test flight took place in September 2017 in Dubaï.

Volocopter is the first ever fullly electric & manned multicopter with a permit to fly. It has 2 seats, 15 propellers and is powered by 9 batteries.

This allow it to have a flight time of around 30 minutes. Only a short training is required to operate the Volocopter.
